Schreyer Institute workshop to help new instructors plan a class session

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present a free workshop titled “How to Plan a Class Session” from noon to 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, in 315 Rider Building at University Park.

When planning to lead a class session, it's important to clearly identify student learning objectives. This workshop, facilitated by Moji Shahvali and Wideline Seraphin, will explore how to create good learning objectives and how to make sure teaching and assessment strategies line up with those objectives.

This workshop is required as part of the Instructional Foundations Series for new instructors.
