LionLink makes career connections count

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Alumni Career Services has re-launched LionLink, its networking platform that connects alumni in the workforce with students and other alumni looking for help in their careers.

Through LionLink, you can take advantage of the opportunity to bond professionally with other Penn Staters. Whether you’re a member of the Penn State alumni family looking to positively impact someone’s life, an alumnus or alumna interested in taking the next step in your career, or a student who wants to prepare for life after graduation, LionLink provides options to get started.

“LionLink offers a real opportunity to join a professional network built by and for Penn Staters,” said Cheryl Bonner, director of Alumni Career Services. “We’re focused on making LionLink an even more robust community for one-on-one interaction where alumni and students can easily access resources and build professional relationships that take their careers to the next level.”

The updated LionLink platform offers users the opportunity to grow their own professional network while also providing career insights to Penn Staters. LionLink’s enhanced community-like feel complements the mentoring, networking and connecting options found in the previous site.

Unique features include:

  • the option to log in using LinkedIn, Facebook or your existing email address;
  • a robust career resource center to browse and learn;
  • the ability to set specific number of times you prefer to be contacted per month;
  • and much more.
