Pop punk band Mayday Parade to perform Dec. 1

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Student Programming Association Concerts Committee announces a concert by pop punk band Mayday Parade. The concert will be in the HUB-Robeson Center’s Alumni Hall at 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1. This event will mark the final SPA Concerts Committee event of the Fall 2017 semester.

Mayday Parade is a Florida-based pop punk band founded in 2005. They have released five studio albums, including A Lesson In Romantics and Mayday Parade. Over the years, Mayday Parade gone on numerous tours has also played during several years of the Vans Warped Tour. As always, the performance is free for all students with a valid Penn State University Park Photo ID and is funded by your student initiated fee.

The Student Programming Association (SPA) exists to serve the student body of the Pennsylvania State University by providing diverse activities, programming assistance and resources, which enhance a student’s overall co-curricular experience.

SPA prides itself on recommending programs for the benefits of undergraduates, graduates, and returning students and secondarily for others in the University community. The Student Programming Association attempts to enhance the educational, social, cultural, and recreational experiences at Penn State, promote outreach and collaboration of student organizations that will foster leadership and organizational development, recognize diverse backgrounds of students and strive to provide a slate of programming that reflects and celebrates our similarities and differences.
