— Jessica Dirsmith, an adjunct instructor in the school psychology graduate program, was named Pennsylvania's School Psychologist of the Year for her work as a practitioner, university-level adviser and teacher, and advocate for her profession. Dirsmith also is a school psychologist with the State College Area School District.
— Mary Higgins, a doctoral candidate in curriculum and instruction, was awarded the Blumberg/Pajak Award by the Council of Professors in Instructional Supervision (COPIS) at its annual conference in Austin, Texas. The award goes to a promising young scholar in the field of school supervision.
— Kelly Rosinger, assistant professor of education (higher education), wrote "Using Mobility Report Card Data to Understand What Works in Reducing Educational Inequities," a policy brief featured in the report Moving Up? What a Groundbreaking Study Tells Us about Access, Success, and Mobility in Higher Ed.
