Penn State University Police investigating harassment incident

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State University Police are investigating an incident of harassment that occurred at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, in Robinson Hall, which is located in the North Housing Area at University Park. The incident involved an unknown female who attempted to persuade the victim of a theft not to pursue criminal charges against the known suspect.

Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of the pictured female, or who was a witness to the crime, is asked to contact University Police at 814-863-1111 or submit tips to Centre County CrimeStoppers via email at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Those providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 from Centre County CrimeStoppers. University Police would also like to remind the community to:

  • Report suspicious persons immediately.
  • Use the buddy system and watch out for each other.
  • Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help.
