Tomlinson’s primary role as assistant director of alumni relations is to oversee functions, activities and growth of the college’s alumni relations program, including planning and managing current alumni events and initiatives, and developing new activities in consultation with the dean, director of development, and Alumni Society Board. In this position, she also assists in the nominations process for a variety of University and college awards and serves as the college's liaison to the Penn State Alumni Association to coordinate college alumni activities that align with University alumni programming. Tomlinson, who joined the college in August, also is responsible for creating new volunteer leadership opportunities for college alumni.
