Men’s Golf

6th Place in the Westminster College Invitational

Freshman Luke Hoffnagle (Spring Grove, PA/Spring Grove) tied for sixth place out of 73 golfers at the Westminster Invitational, shooting 76 to lead the Lions on the day.

Freshman defender Jimmy Natale (Harleysville, PA/La Salle College) and freshman forward Deontae Mosley (Houston, TX/Hylton) each scored their first collegiate goals for the Lions last week.

Freshman midfielder Gabby Stauffer (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) scored her first collegiate goal in the Lady Lions’ 1-0 win over La Roche on Tuesday, September 26.

Sophomore Brayley Lewis (Roaring Spring, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) went 2-0 in No. 2 singles and 2-0 in No. 2 doubles for Penn State Altoona in a pair of Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference wins last week.

Junior outside hitter Kelsey Bristol (Troy, PA/Troy) was named the AMCC Player of the Week, as she put up big offensive numbers to help the women’s volleyball team get off to a 3-0 start in conference play.
