Rhythms of Life series features harp virtuoso Edmar Castaneda

ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend opened its 14th Rhythms of Life Series with a performance by harp virtuoso Edmar Castañeda and special guest, world-renowned harmonica player Grégoire Maret.

The Rhythms of Life Series is a vibrant succession of cultural performances providing hours of lively and interesting entertainment to the campus community. The performances in this series give true meaning to the word "diverse" as they feature a variety of music, dance and storytelling from all regions of the world.

Past performers include Native Nations Dance Theater, Dragon and Lion Chinese Dancers, Rhythms and Blues, Celtic/Irish music, Indian Sitar and Tabla, Caribbean Steel Pans, Indigenous Aztec Music and Dance, Romanian Gypsy, Japanese Taiko Drums, Spanish Flamenco and much more.
