A teach-in on DACA will be held Sept. 26

A teach-in on "DACA, the Latinx Experience, and the Politics of Fear" will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the Foster Auditorium, Paterno Library on the University Park campus of Penn State.

Those participating in the event will include Shoba Wadhia, director of the Center for Immigrants' Rights; Andrew Sandoval-Strausz, director of Latino/a Studies; Eduardo Mendieta, philosophy, Rock Ethics Institute; and Hilario Lomeli, graduate student in College of Education. The discussion will be moderated by John Ochoa and Judith Sierra-Rivera.

The event is sponsored by following departments -- Latino/a Studies; Philosophy; Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies; and Spanish, Italian & Portuguese -- in College of the Liberal Arts.
