CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents “The War is Still With Us,” a PBS39 community engagement project. The exhibit will run from Oct. 2 to 28.

An artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Lehigh Valley campus. Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public. For those who plan to attend, RSVP for the reception by contacting Kimberly Hessler at khessler@wlvt.org.

"The War is Still With Us" will feature approximately 30 images of the Vietnam War that were submitted by members of the local community.

Selected photos will be displayed on PBS39's website and through a physical photo gallery that will travel to various locations throughout the region, starting at Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Community Gallery. The traveling photo gallery will show the local impact of the war in the Lehigh Valley. The project also will include podcast interviews from selected experts in the field with the help of Vietnam Veterans of America LHV Chapter 415.
