Penn State Lehigh Valley students celebrated campus organizations and clubs through the Involvement Fair from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30. The outdoor fair took place in the courtyard at the Lehigh Valley campus.

Through the Involvement Fair, various club representatives were able to share information about their groups to encourage student involvement. Students had the opportunity to visit the different tables of clubs that piqued their interest in order to gain more information about what the clubs do and how to join or get involved.

“With over 35 groups represented, students could view table displays with photos, listings of club goals and activities and most importantly engage with club members to learn of the exciting opportunities available with each group. This year’s crowd was record breaking with over 250 in attendance. We’re excited to kick off the new school year with much enthusiasm and commitment,” Assistant Director of Student Affairs Pam Fleck said.

Some of the clubs and organizations that were represented at the Involvement Fair include: Campus Activities Board (CAB), Glee Club, Corporate Communication Society, Rise, Campus Christian Fellowship, Adult Learners Club, THON, Lion Ambassadors, Business Society – and more.

“[The Involvement Fair] showcases each club, and shows their pros and cons. It helps students make their decision on which club to join, and it’s a great networking opportunity,” Penn State Lehigh Valley sophomores Joselyne Mera and Maitri Patel of the Lion Ambassadors club said.
