Blue & White Society to host welcome-back picnic for all students Aug. 24

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A new year has started in Happy Valley; come celebrate it with the Blue & White Society, the largest active student organization on campus, with its annual kickoff event, BASH.

BASH will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center near the duck pond on the University Park campus.

All University Park students, new and returning, are invited to attend the barbeque picnic-themed event to enjoy free food from Carvers Deli and BBQ, games, and live music by the State College band Lowjack.

New this year, anyone who joins the Blue & White Society will receive a limited-edition spirit scarf. Students who join at BASH can pick up the scarf on site that day. Learn more about other benefits of Blue & White Society membership at BASH or online anytime.
