Center for Arts and Crafts accepting registrations for fall art classes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Arts and Crafts at Penn State is taking registrations for fall art classes, which begin the week of Sept. 11 at University Park. These non-credit classes are open to all Penn State faculty, staff and students.

A variety of classes are available, including Wheel Thrown Pottery, Stained Glass, Drawing, Comic Creation, Pen & Ink Drawing, Watercolor, and more. A number of workshops also are available, including Step by Step Painting, Basket Weaving, Recycled Desk Caddy, and Handbuilt Ceramic Mugs, among others.

Held in Ritenour Building or the HUB-Robeson Center, the classes and workshops are instructed by Penn State art and art education majors and local professional artists.

Those interested in participating can register in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in 003 Ritenour; a valid Penn State ID is required.
