Track and field earns 15 USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its list of All-Academic individual award winners for the 2017 track and field season. Fifteen Nittany Lions were named All-Academic along with the both track & field teams receiving All-Academic honors.

On the women's side, Kayla Zoschg, Megan McCloskey, Tessa Barrett, Madeline Holmberg, Rachel Banks, Lexi Masterson, Steph Seivers, Tichina Rhodes, Danae Rivers, Greta Lindsley and Hannah Mulhern were named All-Academic.

The Penn State men were represented on the USTFCCCA All-Academic list by Dan Chisena, Jordan Makins, Jon Yohman and Michael Biddle.

Both Nittany Lion track and field teams received All-Academic honors for the 2017 track and field season.

To qualify as an All-Academic individual, student-athletes must complete the academic year with a GPA of at least 3.25 and have finished the indoor regular season ranked nationally among the top 96 (individually) or 48 (relay) or have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships.
