UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In an effort to better support customers, the Office of Physical Plant Service Garage is making upgrades to its fuel island beginning on Monday, July 31. Work, which will include new fuel dispensers, is expected to last a few weeks.
Only one side of the dispensers will be closed at a time for replacement to avoid a full shutdown of the system. A full shutdown will still be necessary during construction, but will be limited to less than two hours. With only one side of the dispensers available at a time, customers are encouraged to consider fueling during the workday to avoid the morning and afternoon rush. The fuel island is open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
Fueling at Fleet or Transportation Services will not be impacted by the work at the OPP Service Garage fuel island.
