Casting Crowns to perform at Bryce Jordan Center on Oct. 6

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Christian rock group Casting Crowns will visit the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus for a 7 p.m. concert on Friday, Oct. 6. The multi-platinum-selling and Grammy-winning band will be joined by Grammy-nominated artist Zach Williams as part of its “The Very Next Thing Tour,” which supports the group's 2016 album of the same name.

Tickets start at $29.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium and Penn State Downtown Theatre; by calling 800-745-3000; or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Penn State University Park students can purchase discounted tickets for $9.75 courtesy of the Student Fee Board. Student tickets are available in person at the Bryce Jordan Center Box Office, Penn State Downtown Theatre and Eisenhower Auditorium, as well as online through Account Manager. Special rates for groups of 10 or more also are available by calling 814-865-5555.

Casting Crowns was founded in 1999 by singer, songwriter and youth pastor Mark Hall. With more than 10 million records sold, the seven-member group has held the position of Billboard’s top-selling act in Christian music since 2007.
