Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education adds new staff member

LEHMAN, Pa. — Chancellor Dale Jones and Jane Ashton, director of continuing education, have announced the addition of Nicole Darling to the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education staff.

In her role as an education program associate, Darling will be responsible for developing, selling and administering a wide variety of education and training programs to include credit, professional development and customized training, primarily for the working adult audience, helping to meet employer workforce development needs within Luzerne and Wyoming counties.

Darling comes to Penn State Wilkes-Barre with seven years of experience educating adults of all ages. She has more than 20 years of experience in handling the coordination and administration of all aspects of program development and possesses advanced graphic design skills.

Darling is a graduate of Walden University in Minnesota with a master of science in psychology, focusing in industrial and organizational specialties. She also holds a bachelor of arts in speech communication from Penn State and is a Myers-Briggs Indicator Certified Practitioner.
