EMS to offer course for education graduate students

The Institute for Natural Gas Research in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is sponsoring a new graduate course that allows students to work to determine deficiencies and opportunities in the university education model, specifically in the areas of online degrees, for-profit colleges, micro-degrees, new-hire preparedness, and new-hire expectations. The course will require students to contact their peers, educators and industry representatives to create a data set from which insights can be gained.

The course will enroll approximately nine to 12 students studying education, communication or business. Individuals interested in the course should contact Brandon Schwartz at schwartz@psu.edu.
