Sending a 'We Are!' to these Penn Staters

This week, we recognize eight Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form.

This week, it's thank you to:

Kathleen Mastrian, with Penn State Shenango, whose nominator wrote: "Kathy has always been a strong supporter of the Penn State Shenango campus, fellow faculty and staff, and is a wonderful mentor. Many of us could say that we wouldn't have made it this far without her."

Nadine Davitt, Jeff Dice, Matt Wolf and Brian Phiel, with the Office of Physical Plant, whose nominator wrote to thank them "for their leadership this winter cleaning and clearing the snow and ice."

Tracy Wallace, with the College of the Liberal Arts, whose nominator wrote: "Tracy has been instrumental with training and offering support to our online instructors during the Canvas transition to ensure successful implementation. We sincerely thank Tracy for being a valuable member of our team, including helping others embrace change!"

Kim Quinn, with Penn State Schuylkill, whose nominator wrote: "Kim is always greeting our students at Penn State Schuylkill with a great big bright smile no matter what type of day she is having. Kim is always willing to go above and beyond to help a student to right their academic path. Kim is a huge asset to our campus and to our University day in and day out."

Kendra Wolgast Sites, with Penn State Mont Alto, whose nominator wrote: "Kendra’s energy, drive and commitment to the success of the students at Penn State Mont Alto are evident. When the campus has a need, Kendra is there. In the Academic Support Center and at Mont Alto, We Are… amazed at the dedication of Kendra Sites."
