Nominees sought for outstanding postdoc and mentorship awards

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Postdoctoral Society is seeking nominations for the third annual Penn State Outstanding Postdoc and Outstanding Postdoc Mentor awards.

The Outstanding Postdoc Award recognizes a postdoctoral scholar for his/her overall achievements at Penn State, while the Outstanding Mentor Award will recognize a faculty member who has demonstrated a commitment to exceptional mentoring of postdoctoral scholars at Penn State.

The deadline to submit nominations for both awards is May 19. Additional details and award criteria are available at http://www.psupostdoc.org/call-for-nominations.html.

The Penn State Postdoctoral Society's mission is to enhance the postdoctoral experience at Penn State by providing resources to assist postdoctoral scholars in their professional and personal development. The society is supported and advised by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs in implementing and sustaining its programs.
