SHARON, Pa. — Penn State Shenango’s popular STEM Camp will again be offered this summer to middle school-aged children. The weeklong day camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 19, through Friday, June 23.

STEM Camp, which stands for science, technology, engineering and math, will be available to students entering grades seven and eight this coming fall. The cost of the camp is $95 per week and is limited to the first 30 paid applicants. Students will be able to enjoy their packed lunch in the campus’ air-conditioned Great Hall.

The camp sessions each day will be taught by Penn State Shenango faculty experts who will engage students in learning through a variety of fun and educational hands-on activities from a range of STEM subjects, including biology, chemistry, ecology, math, engineering, microbiology and environmental science.

Registration is now open; application forms are available at http://shenango.psu.edu/STEMform or by stopping by the campus Admissions Office in Lecture Hall Room 225. Checks should be made payable to the Pennsylvania State University. No refunds are available.
