UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — To celebrate one last time before graduation and offer final farewells, the Lion Ambassadors will honor the senior class with its annual Senior Sendoff from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center at University Park. Seniors will have the opportunity to connect with various alumni interest groups underneath the Penn State Alumni Association, as well as enjoy free food, activities and entertainment.

“While most of our other projects have a root in the rich history and traditions of Penn State, Senior Sendoff is a chance for a whole class to come together to remember and celebrate its time here,” Lion Ambassadors President Alan Ludwikowski said. “This event marks the beginning of the lifelong fondness and dedication that the graduates will have for this University.”

The event will include activities such as an obstacle course, mechanical bull, competitions to win graduation baskets and more. Free food including hoagies, chicken tenders, and macaroni and cheese will be served throughout the event.

Students are encouraged to post photos from Senior Sendoff on social media, using the hashtag #SeniorSendoff2017.
