Human Resources Town Hall available to watch online

Faculty and staff encouraged to take Town Hall survey

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The April 5, 2017, University Town Hall, which focused on human resources and related issues, is now available to watch online.

We would also like to hear from faculty and staff. After viewing the Town Hall, tell us what you think by taking a short survey.

Penn State leaders have been holding a series of Town Hall meetings for faculty and staff. The most recent one, held April 5, 2017, in the Freeman Auditorium of the HUB-Robeson Center focused on human resources issues.

Topics of the forum included the new payroll and human resources capital management system, time off for employees, job training opportunities and health care benefits. Susan Basso, vice president and chief human resources officer, and Nick Jones, provost and executive vice president, spoke and took questions from people who attended in person and watched via livestream.

The Town Hall was cosponsored by Penn State Today and the University Staff Advisory Council. The meeting was one of a series of public sessions the administration has been holding to provide faculty and staff with information on University initiatives, answer questions and address concerns.
