— Ruth Bowers, (2006, master of education, curriculum and instruction) and her husband Geoffrey Bowers (2006, doctorate, chemistry), co-authored the book, "Understanding Chemistry Through Cars." Published by CRC Press, the book guides novice chemists and car enthusiasts in learning basic chemical principles in an engaging context. It also supports upper-level chemists in synthesizing knowledge gained over a chemistry curriculum and seeing how it can manifest in the real world. A Twitter account (@CarChemProf) and an associated blog allow readers to explore the latest in the world of car chemistry, ask questions, and interact directly with the authors and other experts.

— Henry Brzycki (2009, doctorate, education theory and policy) appeared on WPSU’s Conversations Live: Resilience to speak about grit and life purpose in education. Brzycki is an educational psychologist specializing in school-based resilience programs and the author of two books on resilience. He also has served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Education on whole child and youth development programs.

— Research conducted by Emily Hodge (2015, doctorate, education policy studies) was the focus of a recent article published in Education Week. Hodge is currently an assistant professor of counseling and educational leadership at Montclair State University.
