UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The 2016-17 Golumbic Exhibition, featuring the works of College of Arts and Architecture students nominated for the Reuben and Gladys Golumbic Scholarship Award, will be on display Monday, March 27, through Thursday, March 30, in the Borland Project Space, 125 Borland Building, on Penn State's University Park campus.
The Reuben and Gladys Golumbic Scholarship Award is one of the most significant awards in the College of Arts and Architecture. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated superior design, humanistic, and performance records, and who have proven their potential for significant contribution to the arts and humanities. The amount of each scholarship award is approximately $6,500. Faculty members nominate students to apply for the scholarship, which was established in 1978 by Ed Eckl, a Penn State chemistry alumnus, in memory of his adoptive parents.
The winners will be announced at the College of Arts and Architecture Spring Awards Ceremony.
