Student-focused workshop on financial literacy for women offered April 12

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A student-focused workshop on financial literacy for women, sponsored by AAUW Penn State Students and the Penn State Literacy Center, will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in 223-B HUB, University Park campus.

Financial literacy is a serious issue facing women in the United States and globally. In this student-centered workshop, Penn State Financial Literacy Director Daad Rizk will discuss the money-related challenges women face and solutions that can help women succeed financially despite these challenges. The workshop will cover topics like earnings, spending habits, family responsibilities, career opportunities, and paying for education. 

This MoneyCounts presentation is provided by the Penn State Financial Literacy Center team and is open to all students and the public. No registration is required.
