In her role as a marketing communications specialist for the College of Education, Buterbaugh is responsible for writing news and feature stories that promote the academic and research achievements of faculty, staff and students in the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Special Education and Department of Learning Performance Systems. She manages the college’s social media platforms and curates Bridges and Connections, the college’s official newsletters. Buterbaugh also assists faculty members interested in writing for The Conversation, an independent news site that provides commentary and analysis of current affairs written by academic experts and researchers. She also assists with the layout and design of college publications, including the two alumni magazines and the annual Theme Report.
