Open Mic Night set for Feb. 27 at Penn State York

YORK, Pa. — Poetry, spoken word, singing, instrumental performances and more will all be part of Open Mic Night on Monday, Feb. 27, at Penn State York. The event, set for 7 to 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center, is sponsored by the Penn State York Black Student Union and the Diversity Committee.

In addition to performances by students, Carla Christopher, special guest poet and the former poet laureate of York, will share her work.  

Students who wish to perform should contact Maritha Yeboah, president of the Black Student Union, at mmy5113@psu.edu. The dress code for the evening is black.
