University Staff Advisory Council invites membership nominations for 2017-18

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The University Staff Advisory Council (USAC) is accepting applications for the 2017-18 academic year.

Formed in January 1995, the University Staff Advisory Council exists for the purpose of suggestion, review and advice on issues that impact or are impacted by staff. Issues such as policy and practice, continuous quality improvement, diversity, customer service or other similar matters are addressed. The council acts in an advisory capacity to the central administration through the vice president for Human Resources.

Appointed USAC members have voting responsibilities and serve three-year terms, beginning July 1.

Monthly council meetings typically occur during normal University hours, last approximately two hours, and are considered University business.

Applicants from all Penn State campus locations will be considered. For an application form and to learn more about USAC, visit USAC's membership website. The application deadline is March 15.

For questions about the application or membership, contact the membership committee chair, Jenny Blew, at jcb28@psu.edu.

Today’s USAC is composed of 30 members from across campuses, colleges and units, including liaisons representing the president’s equity commissions. To learn more about the council, visit USAC's website.
