UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Family Law Clinic at Penn State Law is hosting an event, "1 Billion Rising Revolution — Solidarity Against Exploitation of Women," at noon on Thursday, Feb. 16, on the lawn of the HUB-Robeson Center, University Park.
We are Rising, Dancing and Disrupting on the HUB Lawn! We'll have a Flash Mob-style event with numerous Penn State and community groups. Let's shine some light, raise our voices, and move our bodies joyously in this dark and cold season. The Family Law Clinic, CAPS, Center for Women Students and Women's Resource Center will provide information about gender-based violence.
The Family Law Clinic at Penn State Law provides legal representation to individuals who are unable to afford legal services and/or have survived domestic abuse, staffed by Penn State Law students under the supervision of licensed attorneys.
