Track and field No. 21, 24 in USTFCCCA rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Penn State men's and women’s track and field teams check in at No. 24 and No. 21, respectively, in the National Computer Rankings, as released Monday afternoon by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Both Nittany Lion track and field teams are represented in the rankings with the men's team holding the No. 24 spot, while the women the No. 21 spot in the week three rankings following the penultimate home indoor meet of the year in the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup.

The Nittany Lions are fresh off a meet that saw 41 personal best marks hit over the two day meet at Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.

Penn State is home to 14 top-25 NCAA marks, six-Big Ten leading marks and 65 top-25 Big Ten marks.
