Association of American Universities launches energy research webpage

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Recognizing the vital role that scientific discovery plays in ensuring the world’s energy future, the Association of American Universities has launched a webpage highlighting the energy-related research accomplishments of its member institutions.

The new webpage, titled “Research to Secure Our Energy Future,” officially launched on Feb. 7. The page showcases how AAU universities, including Penn State, are addressing such research challenges as finding new and sustainable energy sources, improving energy storage and distribution, achieving greater energy conservation and efficiency, and understanding social and behavioral factors affecting the way we manage and consume energy.
