UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Arts & Design Research Incubator will host “Physical Imagining: An interactive workshop to engage the imagination," 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 11 and 18, in the ADRI (16 Borland). The workshop will be hosted by Elisha Clark Halpin associate professor and associate director for instruction, School of Theatre, and led by Natalie Griffith Robichaux, assistant professor, School of Theatre. The event is free and open to the public.

The two-part workshop will focus on how the imagination affects one’s physical reality and the way one interacts with the world. Participants will examine the relationship between the physical and emotional experience and gain tools for re-imagining stories people tell themselves about themselves.

“When we engage the imagination through physical movement, we open the door to unlimited possibility,” said Robichaux.

Workshop participants should dress comfortably. No prior experience is needed. Registration for the workshop is required at http://bit.ly/EventBriteImagining. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.

The Arts & Design Research Incubator (ADRI) provides support for high-impact arts and design research projects. Unless otherwise noted, all events take place at 16 Borland.
