'Civil Rights & Education in a New Administration: Pre-K-12th Grade'

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In the wake of the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump, many are wondering what changes the new administration will have on education policy and practice over the next four years.

From 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, Penn State's Center for Education and Civil Rights will host a forum in 403 Rackley Building, University Park, aimed at fostering a discussion around policy continuity and change in civil rights in Pre-K-12 education in the Trump Administration.

This talk and Q&A will feature faculty Erica Frankenberg, associate professor of education; Maria Lewis, assistant professor of education; Dana L. Mitra, professor of education; and Mindy L. Kornhaber, associate professor of education.
