Faculty and staff are invited to get involved in THON 2017

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Faculty and staff interested in getting involved in Penn State's THON 2017 are invited to a free luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, in 110 Robb Hall, located in the Hintz Family Alumni Center on the University Park campus.

During the luncheon, Olivia Pierce, communications captain and faculty and staff outreach coordinator, will give a presentation on the different THON events such as the THON 5K and 100 Days until THON and ways to get involved in these different events.

During the talk, faculty and staff also will have the opportunity to sign up for a tour of THON Weekend 2017, which includes a tour of the Bryce Jordan Center during THON Weekend. The tours will take place during the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 18.

Faculty and staff can come for the full two hours of Pierce's presentation or only for a few minutes.
