ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend’s soccer teams ended their seasons with losses in the NCAA Division III tournament. The cross-country teams also reached the end of their schedules; Dylan Buffington, a junior from Brookville, was named to the All-Region Team after finishing 33rd at the Mid-East Regional Meet.
Men’s soccer
Scranton 2, Penn State Behrend 1 (NCAA Division III tournament)
The Lions entered the NCAA tournament on an 18-game winning streak. They finished their season with a 17-2-3 record.
Women’s soccer
Thomas More College 3, Penn State Behrend 1 (NCAA Division III tournament)
Men’s cross-country
Finished 20th (of 52 teams) at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Meet
Dylan Buffington, a junior from Brookville, maintained a 5:14-mile pace, finishing in 25:57. He was 33rd in a field of 351 runners.
Women’s cross-country
Finished 22nd (of 51 teams) at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Meet
Riley Crissman, a freshman from Bradford, led the team, finishing 110th overall. She ran a 24:28 race.
Men’s swimming and diving
Penn State Behrend 126, Baldwin Wallace 100
Mark Patterson, a sophomore from North Huntingdon, won two events, including the 100 backstroke. He finished that race in 54.13, setting a pool record.
Women’s swimming and diving
Baldwin Wallace 150, Penn State Behrend 71
Maryn Horn, a junior from Houston, won the 50 free, finishing in 25.81.
