Penn State Behrend's cross country teams won the men's and women's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships on Oct. 30. The men claimed their sixth consecutive title; the women won their fourth in the last five years.

The college's soccer, volleyball, water polo, and swimming and diving teams also were in action last week.

Men's cross country

First (of eight teams) at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships.

The team won its sixth consecutive AMCC title. Behrend runners finished first, second and third overall.

Women's cross country

First (of eight teams) at the AMCC championships

Eight Behrend runners finished in the top 15, earning the team its fourth conference title in the last five years.

Men's soccer

Penn State Behrend 1, Medaille 0

Sean Gallagher, a senior from Bethel Park, scored on a penalty kick to claim the AMCC regular-season title. The team is now 15-1-3.

Women's soccer

Penn State Behrend 9, Medaille 0

Jordan Oberlander, a junior from Waterford, scored a career-high four goals, helping the team to its first undefeated season in conference play since 2013.

Women's volleyball

Penn State Behrend 3, Medaille 2

Penn State Behrend 3, Mt. Aloysius 0

Rachel Frye, a junior from Leechburg, had a game-high 17 kills on 38 attempts, with just one error.

Men's swimming and diving

Westminster 193, Penn State Behrend 89

Nick Kost, a senior from Ashburn, Va., won the 200-meter breaststroke and the 200-meter individual medley. Ethan Halmi, a senior from Erie, won the one-meter and three-meter diving events.

Women's swimming and diving

Westminster 171, Penn State Behrend 108

Maryn Horn, a junior from Houston, won the 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle races, finishing in 25.64 and 57.65.

Men's water polo

Gannon 18, Penn State Behrend 8

Isaak Hatopp, a sophomore from Saline, Mich., scored four goals, three of which came in the second quarter.
