Former Gov. Rendell to speak at Penn State on Oct. 27

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell will visit Penn State as part of the McCourtney Institute for Democracy’s fall 2016 speaker series.  Rendell’s speech, titled “Reflections of the Campaign,” will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in the Freeman Auditorium at the HUB-Robeson Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Rendell served as the 45th governor of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2011. He also served as chair of the Democratic National Committee (1999-2001), as well as mayor (1992-2000) and district attorney of Philadelphia (1978-1986).
