As part of efforts to enable University community members to successfully connect to Penn State wireless, students, faculty and staff at every Penn State campus location are encouraged to update the wireless setup on each of their laptops, tablets, smartphones or other wireless-enabled devices before 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Detailed wireless setup instructions are available at wireless.psu.edu/update.

Note: You do not need to update your wireless setup if you use an Android device or if you made the following changes after June 2, 2016: configured Penn State wireless on a new computer or wireless device, updated to a new operating system, and/or installed the SecureW2 Enterprise Client on a wireless device.

If you do not update your wireless setup before 6 a.m. on Oct. 11, you will not be able to use Penn State wireless until you connect to the “psuwirelesssetup” wireless network, visit wireless.psu.edu and follow the wireless setup instructions.

Faculty and staff members who have questions and/or do not have administrative rights to their wireless-enabled device(s) will need to contact their area’s IT support staff.

For assistance, call the IT Service Desk at 814-865-4357.
