The Penn State School of Visual Arts (SoVA) announces its second-year M.F.A. exhibition, "Nine Again," opening in the Edwin W. Zoller Gallery on Sept. 19. The exhibition, featuring an array of student artworks, including installation, photography, ceramics, painting, sculpture and printmaking, will be on display through Sept. 30. There will be a public reception at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19. (light refreshments will be served).
"Nine Again" is a collaborative exhibition revisited. Nine diverse perspectives return to Zoller Gallery, creating an exhibition anchored in shared experience and individualism. Each maker brings an independent approach to the community of artists, creating an atmosphere of flux and idiosyncrasy. "Nine Again" is the product of last spring’s First-Year graduate student exhibition cooperative re-examined eight months after its debut.
Participating artists include: Kristina Davis, Valerie Dillon, Elham Hajesmaeili Nooghi, Alvaro Jordan, Lindsey Landfried, Courtney Michaud, Hillel O'Leary, Stephanie Seguin and Penelope Van Grinsven.
