Penn State Medical Group now offers additional therapeutic endoscopy treatment

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Dr. Nicholas Inverso has begun practicing at the Penn State Medical Group Endoscopy Center in State College. Inverso presents two new therapeutic endoscopy treatments to Penn State Health patients in the Centre Region.

Inverso has been with Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for two years, and has practiced in the northeast and north central regions of Pennsylvania for the past 20 years. The new therapeutic endoscopy treatments that Inverso offers include endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), luminal stent replacement and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS). The addition of Inverso at the Penn State Endoscopy Center at Colonnade will ensure greater access for the community, while providing a greater range of treatment options for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders.
