Season's first 'Huddle with the Faculty' event to focus on cancer prevention

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association's Huddle with the Faculty series kicks off its 24th season on Saturday, Sept. 3, as Connie Rogers, an associate professor in Penn State's Department of Nutritional Sciences, will lead a talk titled, "Lifestyle Practices for Cancer Prevention: Diet and Exercise Do Matter!" Admission is free, and no reservations are needed.

Huddle with the Faculty takes place at The Nittany Lion Inn on the Saturday morning of each home football game during the 2016 season. Complimentary continental breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m., and the presentation starts at 9 a.m. Alumni, parents, students, friends and guests are welcome.

Now in its 24th season, Huddle with the Faculty is presented by the Penn State Alumni Association and sponsored by The Village at Penn State with support from The Nittany Lion Inn and Penn State Press.
