Now in his second season as the front-flipping, mace-wielding leader of the Blue Band, senior Jimmy Frisbie skillfully juggles his high-profile position with his responsibilities as a high-achieving Schreyer Honors College Scholar.

In the next episode of "This is Penn State," Frisbie marches into the spotlight to explain his "position of service" to the Blue Band's more than 300 members and offers a crash course in executing his famous flip.

"It's definitely an adrenaline rush," he said. "I don't really remember a lot from my first flip in Beaver Stadium."

An immunology and infectious diseases major in the College of Agricultural Sciences, Frisbie's roots run deep in the band with his parents, grandfather and uncle all wearing the Blue Band blues.
