I-80 construction to cause delays for students traveling from eastern Pa.

Students and families approaching University Park from the east should consider alternate routes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Students and families traveling to Penn State's University Park campus this weekend may face long delays on Interstate 80. According to PennDOT officials, traffic is restricted to one lane in both directions between exits 185 (Loganton) and 173 (Lamar), leading to delays of up to two hours.

This will primarily impact those traveling to campus on I-80 West. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes that avoid the affected section of I-80. Click here for a map of the affected stretch of roadway.
