UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence is offering a free online workshop for all new Penn State instructors.
“New Instructor Orientation,” moderated by Cindy Decker Raynak, senior instructional designer, is a self-paced workshop available now through Friday, Sept. 23, via Canvas, Penn State’s course management system. The workshop is open to all new instructors at any Penn State location.
Offered at the start of each semester, the workshop will provide a brief introduction to the resources and strategies that are crucial to good teaching and planning.
Once registered, participants will receive an email with Canvas access information.
The deadline to register for the workshop is noon on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and all assignments must be uploaded by 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 23.
