Cancer Survivorship Celebration set for June 10 in Hershey

Penn State Cancer Institute’s Survivorship Celebration, held in conjunction with National Cancer Survivors Day, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10. The celebration will feature music, educational seminars and holistic vendors. Register for free seminars at PennStateHershey.org/cancer or by contacting Nichole Cook at 717-531-7942 or ncook@hmc.psu.edu.

National Cancer Survivors Day is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families and an outreach to the community.

The June 10 event on the Hershey campus is supported by the Chloe Mellott Memorial Endowment Fund, endowed by the Milton Hershey School Student Government Association. The event is also supported by a community health-wellness grant from Bristol-Myers Squibb, which makes it possible for the Survivorship Celebration to be free to cancer survivors and patients.
