MCKEESPORT, Pa. — The Penn State Greater Allegheny Alumni Society is planning a senior sendoff for the campus' spring 2016 graduates.
All graduating seniors and their families are invited to attend. The group will enjoy dinner to celebrate their graduation and their induction into the Penn State Alumni Association.
“The senior sendoff is a way for us to congratulate the graduates, as well as to welcome them into the Alumni Association," said Dave Pasternak, president of the Penn State Greater Allegheny Alumni Society. "Earning a Penn State degree is an accomplishment to be proud of, and we are honored to welcome them into the Alumni Association, with alumni located in every corner of the world."
The event will be held at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, May 6, in the Ostermayer Room of the Student Community Center on campus.
