Penn State Parking Office offers support for fire victims

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State is continuing to look for ways to support 48 students who were displaced by an April 20 fire at The Park, an off-campus apartment building in Ferguson Township.

Among the resources available to impacted students, the Penn State Parking Office is offering parking in lots 42 and 83 for displaced students who are living on campus for the remainder of the spring semester.

To request a permit, impacted students should visit the Parking Office, located off of University Drive Extension in USB I, and alert the counter staff that they have recently moved on campus due to the fire. The Parking Office staff has been fully briefed on what to offer. Students requesting a parking permit will need to provide their Penn State ID and license plate information when they visit the Parking Office.
