University Police investigating report of criminal trespass

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State University Police are investigating a criminal trespass incident that occurred on the fourth floor of Tener Hall between 4 and 4:40 a.m. on April 20. A college-aged Asian male opened the door and entered the threshold of a female residence. The male fled when he was confronted by the resident.

The male is described as being approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with black hair and glasses. At the time of the incident, the male was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or similar incidents should contact Penn State University Police at 814-863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Persons providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 from Centre County Crime Stoppers.

University Police would also like to remind the community to:

  • Make sure you keep doors locked.
  • Only allow residents into the residence hall.
  • Report all unescorted guests immediately.
