UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Calling all Nittany Lion fans! Show off your Penn State pride during the third annual PS i(heart)U Week.

PS i(heart)U Week, hosted by the Blue & White Society, begins on Monday, April 11, and runs through Friday, April 15. The mission of the week is to highlight University spirit; unite students, alumni, faculty, staff and fans; and celebrate all that makes Penn State great.

“This is the biggest PS i(heart)U week has ever been because we aimed to incorporate all aspects of Penn State," said Misha Demchuk, director of activities for the Blue & White Society. "We want to celebrate what Penn State uniquely means to each individual of our community, including the alumni. Through tradition and innovation, we want to foster a relationship with Dear Old State, and PS i(heart)U Week is one way that we can do this."

There will be pop-up tents in different locations around the University Park campus each morning from 9 to 11 a.m., in addition to special events during the day and/or evening. There will also be a social media contest every day during the week where participants can win items like gift cards. Download your own PS i(heart)U poster to connect with the Blue & White Society all week, and be sure to share it on social media with #PSiheartU16.

Sponsors of this weeklong celebration include the Penn State Alumni Association, University Park Allocation Committee, Lion Ambassadors, Hillel, Kind, Association of Residence Hall Students and IST Startup Week. This event is free and open to the public.

The Blue & White Society is the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association, with societies at campuses across the Commonwealth. With nearly 9,000 members, it is the largest and one of the most active student organizations at Penn State. The Blue & White Society plans many events on campus each year while also participating in events such as THON, Homecoming, Relay For Life, and various community service programs.
